The visual identity is a guide that includes the recommendations for use and the characteristics of the graphic elements (logos, colors, fonts, typos, symbols, layers..) which can be used on the company’s communication media.
The value of realizing a visual identity is twofold :
- The graphic identity remains the same no matter the graphic achievements, so that the organization, project or company uses "one voice".
- The visual identity allows the receiver to easily identify the transmitter and, usually if consistency is respected, to identify itself visually in the various graphics and within the same graphic support.
The visual identity guarantees the homogeneity and consistency of visual communication within and outside the company.
